Chris Kemp is an author 🖋️, multiple-patent holder 📜, and leader 💪 with over 25 years of experience in technology. He is the co-author of "Professional Heroku Programming" published by Wiley, the world’s biggest technology publisher, and has had seven patents issued for his inventions. Chris was the Senior Director and founder of Salesforce's Emerging Technologies business unit. He led a number of North America-wide teams of architects and futurists with expertise in machine learning, #blockchain, and data architecture.
Before leading the Emerging Technologies team, Chris was appointed to the highest-level role as an individual contributor at Salesforce as a Distinguished Enterprise Architect. While practicing Enterprise Architecture, he worked with clients across North America to co-build digital transformation blueprints in order to realize their strategic business objectives. He is now focused on freelance work with Vandelay Enterprises helping companies of all sizes get the most value out of their Salesforce and overall technology investments, as well as leveraging innovative technologies like A.I. and blockchain to future-proof their organizations.
